Mission Statement
Open Door Preschool is a not-for-profit, parent-directed school whose mission is to enhance the growth of each child by encouraging a positive self image, promoting independence from home, and fostering the development of responsibility in a non-sectarian, child-centered environment.

Since 1964, ODP has provided a nurturing environment for children 14 months through kindergarten. It remains unique as the only parent-run, non-sectarian preschool in the CSRA. True to its history, it continues to be a non-profit organization.
